How do donations get used?
In 2026, 95.6% of all our spending went directly to the programs in Afghanistan.
No salaries in Belgium, no rent, no intermediaries.
Your contribution funds:
✓ The 4-month sewing and embroidery training
✓ Starter kits (sewing machine, fabrics, tools)
✓ Psychosocial support sessions
✓ Fees for our local instructors and coordinators
✓ Safe training spaces
We report on every program in our quarterly newsletter
and will publish our first annual report in spring 2027.

Why don’t you show the girls’ faces?
The safety of our beneficiaries is our absolute priority.
In Afghanistan today, being identified as a girl accessing
education can be life-threatening. Showing faces, real names,
or precise locations could endanger the girls, their families,
and our local team.
That’s why we enforce strict anonymity:
🚫 No recognizable faces (blurred, hands only, backs)
🚫 No real names (pseudonyms used in all communications)
🚫 No specific locations disclosed
What we DO share:
✅ Photos of their embroidery and sewing work
✅ Progress reports and certificates (anonymized)
✅ Testimonials
✅ Financial receipts and impact metrics
We know this makes it harder to “see” your impact. But this
policy allows us to operate safely and continue changing lives.

Yes, we welcome corporate sponsors and partners who share our commitment to empowering Afghan girls through education.
What are the sources of funding for the organization?
We fund our programs through three main channels:
💝 Social enterprise: Niida Saffraan pralines
Our praline gift boxes are sold as corporate gifts.
50% of the profit funds our programs in Afghanistan.
🤝 Service clubs
Inner Wheel Club Oostende and Rotary Club Brugge Zuid support our work.
In 2026, Rotary Club Brugge Zuid funded a complete tailoring cohort.
